![]() ![]() Jenny replied on 8/14 saying that "it will be sometime in October. ![]() On 8/13 my daughter asked Jenny when she will offer the ACT prep classes that she had cancelled in July. She later stated in another email that she will provide ACT prep classes in the month of July so that the students can get prepared for the 7/18 ACT test, but she has cancelled those classes as well since the July ACT got cancelled. Jenny gave the two full length practice tests in the month of July and August and my daughter attended both of them. My daughter missed two in person classes in the semester and jenny said that she will credit those two classes as well, therefore my daughter has 7 pending classes that need to be fulfilled. According to the original spring semester schedule that she sent, my daughter still has 5 remaining classes not 4. Jenny says that she has offered 11 online classes however she has only sent 4 zoom class invitations on these dates ( 3/21, 3/28, 4/2, and 4/11) On she has sent an email saying that she will stop giving the online classes and claims that there are still 16 hours (4 classes) left in the semester, and she will give an additional 2 full length practice tests which are not part of the original spring semester schedule. (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I believe I have done more than what I could do. Some students were not able to attend all classes due to their personal reason and unfortunately, that is very person problem and out of my scope. Total of 7 classes were remaining as a make-up, but I end up giving total of 11 on-line classes to Spring semester students. I made an announcement to students and parents about this rescheduling issue and offered more than what was remaining to the students who were in this March (Spring semester) semester. Since my classes were targeting specific month of exam, when Spring SAT & ACT canceled, I rescheduled my online class to target whatever the following SAT & ACT tests were available. Due to extreme rise of numbers of Corona virus cases, all the SAT & ACT tests (operated by College board and ACT) were canceled from April to June and only a few testing centers were slowly opened in July of 2020. My instructors and I spent extra time and energy to prepare for the online classes. As a business owner, I could not take students lives and continue to operate SAT classes in my office but to follow what was directed, ordered, and guided by CDC. I have informed and explained the current situation to all my students and parents. I then changed In-person-class to an online class immediately. March 2020, the entire nation had a lockdown order due to Covid-19 Pandemic, therefore my business had no choice but to close.
